You'll Top Everything With These Low-Carb Pickled Onions & Jalapeños

Keto Pickled Onions

Within 15 minutes, give your favorite meals a burst of flavor with these pickled onions made with items that are already in your pantry. Recipe and photo by @ketobydesign 

What You'll Need:

- 1 red onion

- 1 Tbsp Wondrose Sugar Replacer 

- ½ cup water

- ¼ cup white vinegar

- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

- Air-tight container

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Slice your onion and add to an air-tight container
  2. Bring the water to a boil, then add both kinds of vinegar and Wondrose
  3. Keep boiling until Wondrose dissolves - about 2 minutes
  4. Pour hot liquid mixture on top of onions in container and push down until they are fully submerged
  5. Add any additional spices
  6. The onions will be ready in an hour and will last up to two weeks in the fridge!  

 

 

Sweet and Spicy Low-Carb Pickled Jalapeños

What You'll Need:

- 8-10 jalapeños, sliced

- 2 tsp Wondrose Sugar Replacer  (Add more Wondrose for less spicy jalapeños or less Wondrose for spicer jalapeños) ⁣

- 1 tsp avocado oil ⁣

- 2 cups white vinegar

- Air-tight container

- Feel free to add garlic or salt ⁣ 

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Slice your jalapeños and add to an air-tight container
  2. Mix together Wondrose, avocado oil, and vinegar
  3. Pour liquid mixture on top of jalapeños in container and push them down until they are fully submerged
  4. Add any garlic, salt or any other spices you'd like
  5. Put the jalapeños container in the fridge and enjoy!
